Cody Lee Coffman Foundation
ABOUT US
Cody was born on August 29th, 1996.  He loved sports, movies, video games, his friends and his family.   He was kind and funny and loved by many.

Cody grew up playing pony baseball and also played for Adolfo Camarillo High School.  He eventually moved into umpiring for Camarillo Youth Pony Baseball and continued playing softball regularly.

Cody also worked for Attention to Detail, a moving company that specialized in hiring veterans.  He had been planning to enlist in the military for quite some time.
Cody's life was cut too short in an act of heroism during the mass shooting at the Borderline Bar and Grill on November 7th, 2018.   He was only 22 years old.

We are committed to keeping Cody's memory alive.  We intend to counter this act of evil by spreading kindness towards the community that Cody loved so much.

The three aspects we intend to bring positive change to are scholarships for umpires of CYBA, assistance for veterans transitioning out of the military, and awareness of gun safety and prevention of gun violence.
